Wow! Look at how shiny your cats' coats are! You must be feeding them some very healthy things in their diet.

Good job!

Our 11 month old kitty had terrible runny poo for the first 3-4 months of her life.

We had her wormed and had stool samples taken several times. We gave her probiotics, and changed her kitten chow several times, too.

She seemed to just grow out of it, but the anti-diahrrea meds from the vet and changing to adult cat food seemed to do the trick, too.

Charlie, I think I might add another rule to my comments page. Rule #1: Making me laugh is STRONGLY encouraged! Whew! I read your comment at work today and laughed so hard I couldn't get the words out to explain to my co-worker what was so funny. Major points to you, friend!

here's a super idea from Marks and Spencers in London- a peeled orange in a plastic 'clam' box.
Listen up, when I am too old and infirm to peel an orange (and I will have terrible problems with opening the clear plastic package anyway) take my PEG lined incontinence pants away, and take me to the dump. I will thank you.

I hope your cats feel better too. It is hard to spend so much time feeding my cats when I work 10+ hour days, but I admire what you're doing. Keep up the good work!

Hi there,

I got your message about your concern with signing up on blog4reel. The legalize was written by our lawyer.. I'll go back and take a look at it. Of course we don't want to scare away bloggers! Basically, if you were to be the blog winner we would develop a contract both of us would need to agree upon and sign that would grant us permission to use your blog as the basis for a screenplay. I know I personally want to work closely with the winning blogger for authenticity, etc. Other than that, I'm thinking of using snippets from people's blogs to help promote, but I would ask permission first.
I hope that relieves your fears! We are running a legitimate competition and we want it to be fun and successful and fair to all. If you have any more questions, you can email me at ksuta@blog4reel.com. thanks so much,

Kimberly

Hey Beth, do you know if plastic medicine containers can be recycled? I found a few bottles of expired Tylenol and Aspirin in my medicine cabinet this weekend. I threw out the pills, but was unsure of what to do with the bottles. They are #2 plastic, and they have narrow necks, so it SEEMS like they could go in recycling, but they're so small so I had my doubts.

I have had cats who "grew" out of their digestive disorders. Never did find out what was going on. Also, if you do decide to purchase chicken for the kitties you can freeze them individually on a pan and toss them in those bags you have left after they are frozen. Reuses the bags and is convenient to have individually frozen chicken pieces.

Beth...first of all--I prefer hearing about life as people know/live it. To me it is the most real and most interesting...so as far as I'm concerned, talk about the kitties all you want! You know I talk about my life pretty frankly!

But I also have a question for you...when did Klean Kanteen start selling all-plastic caps with their water bottles instead of stainless steel? They still offer the stainless steel, but at an additional charge. I was pretty shocked. I was on their website the other day and realized what was going on...I sent an e-mail to them this morning to inquire why they started doing this. Did anyone else catch this switch?
