That’s a great question, Crafty Green Poet. It’s possible I would do it if I thought the company sincerely wanted to change and was hiring me to help them get there. But I’d think long and hard before working for someone who wanted me to give up this blog. My passion is activism.

Is there a circumstance where you would work for a company like that, eg in a post to reduce their plastic use, would you feel that would enable you to genuinely change things or would you see it as too much of a sell out, requiring too many compromises?

Isn't it depressing when even the people who know you best are willing to believe that your plastic-avoidance lifestyle is just a phase you were going through and that you would give it up at the drop of a hat? Admittedly, there are plenty of sell-outs who DO abandon their causes for money, but you've demonstrated enough commitment to the plastic-free cause that I can't see you selling out any time soon. I CAN imagine you giving up on blogging if required to do so by an employer, but can't imagine you actively working for a company that promoted throwaway plastic. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed your April Fools post, and am glad you're on our side and not J&J's!
