Hi Beth! I will take you up on discussing No Impact Man AND on joining in on the Show Your Trash Challenge. I'll email you my results when I do it (probably next week). In the meantime, I'll seek out the book and start reading!

Tiffany, the way you take part in the challenge is really up to you. If I were you, I would only count plastic that I generated. As a teachers, I wouldn't count plastic waste brought into the classroom by others. In my business, I would count plastic packaging from supplies, but I'd probably keep it separate from the household waste. As I've mentioned here before, I do try and urge suppliers not to send me anything in plastic.

The bottom line is that how you choose to do it is completely up to you. It's your challenge for your benefit.
