Rodney, are you using the Silo Ink system? I’m sorry. I just reviewed the system, but I don’t work for them and can’t help you with tech support issues.

I have an epsom r300 I’m unable to get a clean, print is there a method to adjjust the pinter, or icc code? I have put in a call several times to Silow ink but no call back.

Hi Caroline,
This is a bit late, but I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such troubles. I hope that by now you’ve gotten a more satisfactory solution.

After a year with the Silo Ink system at work, I’m still loving it. Because I’m ordering from out of country when I need more Ink I send a customer comment in for Tik to call me so that I can place my order directly (the website doesn’t calculate the extra shipping for orders outside of the states but the savings are still great for me). We’ve replaced our printer at home and I’ve ordered the Silo Ink tanks for it as well.

I ordered the Silo Ink kit earlier this year after reading wonderful reviews on it. Unfortunately, I have had nothing but problems with it. The blue ink was leaking all over the package when we received it and we were told that was normal shipping leakage having to do with pressure changes in transit, but the blue ink level was down about an inch in the holding tank. I thought that was excessive. Then it was incredibly difficult to install, my husband is an IT manager and he ended up having to cut part of our printer to get the cartridges to fit correctly. Now, the printer just randomly stops printing as it can’t detect ink in some of the cartridges. I contacted the company and have not gotten any kind of satisfactory resolution to this. I wanted to love this product. I have been trying to eliminate as much plastic and waste from my life as possible and this system seemed like an awesome solution to all the printer waste. It is not and I cannot recommend this product.

Thanks for writing about this. I’ve seen their products and thought they were cool, but a lot of money up front (though it seems like you save in the end). I don’t print a lot so it’s unnecessary for me…but it’s a really good product to know about and recommend!

Hi Lori. I’m so happy to hear that the site is helpful! The idea behind the refillable bottles is they hold much, much more ink than the cartridges, so they not only save plastic but a lot of money as well.

My 22 year old daughter introduced me to your website this past week and I in turn passed it on to about 30 others. I’m excited about reducing the use of plastics in our household, although the changes will be small initially. I like the idea of the refillable printer cartridges but can’t help wonder why refillable bottles (plus shipping materials) are any better than recycled cartridges?
