Think we can't live without plastic? Think again. In 2007 I committed to stop buying any new plastic & I've almost succeeded! Won't you join me? Let's see what plastic-free looks like in 2012... for the health of our bodies, our oceans, our planet. ~Beth Terry

Is the contest still open? I finally hauled myself, my dog, and our glass jar to the pet store to get treats from the bulk treat bin, and I've just now sent my photo to Taina. Lily (the dog) loves having her photo splashed all over the internet.

Would love to have a copy of the book, and unfortunately, my library doesn't have it! ;(
I'm trying very hard to use the library for most everything these days! And am trying equally hard to reduce the plastic in my life as much as possible.

Thanks for a great blog!
((hugs))

Hi Beth! I liked the Refuse Challenge and have just sent my picture to Taina. Don't put me in the giveaway, since shipping a book to Argentina would be too expensive and not green at all ;)
The idea of posting photos is a good one, personally it made me feel less lonely to see all those people refusing plastic. It's better than to just read the names. The "show your plastic" challenge has that effect on me too.
