Here is a programme from BBC Radio, It’s very good and worth listening to. Ut concentreates on the the 5 Gyres boat trip into the Atlantic, where they’ve discovered yet another ocean gyre. There’s also some info about a new process that can turn plasric in fuel.

Beth, It’s always fascinating to read your tallies. I didn’t know there’s paper tape. Can’t wait to find out more about that. Also flea treatment for my kitties is on my mind so I’m going to follow that link right now.

Flea control is a legitimate thing to make an exception for. The chemicals in the flea control do a lot less harm to your pets than the fleas can. The older products contained a lot more chemicals and were much less effective.

I love the new cat litter I’m using. It’s made from recycled newspaper and the bag is paper as well so it can be recycled, too. It is called “Yesterday’s News” and the cats don’t mind it either.
