Hey Amy, I hear you. Just a couple of things. Coke is using scantily-clad models to sell its product, not us. We were just turning their own words against them. And second, we don’t know that all the models were female. The press release didn’t say anything about the gender of the models.

Why not sign and leave a comment adding that you wish they would find a less exploitative way to sell their product?

While I support the goal of the petition, I am not so keen on the idea of using women’s bodies to to sell or for that mattter protest bottled water. So I had to stop short of signing the petition when I read the part that said
And although we appreciate the promise of 30% clad models, we believe it would be more appropriate for your models to be nude, as in “the emperor has no clothes,” because this kind of green washing doesn’t fool us at all.

I signed the RSVP. I’m getting sick of the whole, “Let’s put plants in plastic/oil! That makes it green! The world’s problems are solved!” idea that seems to be going around.

Beth, that picture of you…it’s….it’s, well darn it, it’s scary! Kinda like when Krushchev said “we will bury you!” what with that dirt and all…or maybe part of a trailer for that old movie “I Spit on Your Grave” And it looks like you are missing one eye.

I hope you will get back to those gorgeous still-life shots of glass bottles and such real soon.
