Peter De Boeck, recycling doesn’t solve the problem of toxic additives in plastics, nor is it necessarily eco-friendly when you look at the conditions of most of our plastic recycling in China. Energy reduction is only one factor.

All thermo-hardening plastics can perfectly be recycled, things made of them are generally light weighted compared to their glass equivalents and as such cost less energy to transport. One just has to collect them separately.
