There's cool company called shwood, they make wood sunglasses! Not sure how much they are, I don't remember them being ridiculously priced, but probably not super cheap either.

Apparently, you can find sunglasses at thrift stores. I've never looked for them, but check it out:

Have you checked out secondhand stores in your area or even Freecycle? I don't know of any plastic-free sunglasses, but you could keep some perfectly good used plastic ones out of the landfill.

You might go to an antique shop or thrift store where you might find gold rims which you could get glass sunglasses made for.

I've got a completely broken pair of plastic sunglasses. So, now I have to:

a) Figure out what to do with this broken pair of glasses which of course has no recycling number on it. I've searched on this site and elsewhere on line and find no helpful suggestions. Anyone out there know what I can do with them?

b) Now I need new sunglasses. I don't have prescription glasses and so have never bothered to spend much money on sunglasses. Anyone know if there are non-prescription, non-plastic, non-really expensive sunglasses out there?
