I recently spoke with the facilities director for our school district, and she told me that there are EPA, OSHA, and FDA requirements that mandate the trash be picked up every day if there are food services at the school. Because of these regulations, she informed me that they are not able to reduce the pickup frequency. Is anyone familiar with these regulations and how is your school district able to not have daily pickup?
