        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Hmm... I really wonder how they soften the clothes.  Do they actually soften or just help them smell nice?  Ameliaamy, are you willing to try it out and report back?  :-)</p>
<p>I'd try it, but we stopped using the dryer last year after we got a wooden clothes drying rack.</p>

<p>The comments say they are good at reducing static, but I'm wary of that.  Also: worried I'll end up with powder on all my clean clothes when a pouch spills open.  I've also heard of people putting a little liquid fabric softener on a wash cloth and popping that in the dryer with the wet laundry as a dryer sheet - how well does that work for reducing static?</p>
<p>I'm still using Bounce unscented, but I'm exploring my alternatives.</p>
