To add a new topic: Decide which category it will be (plastic-free alternatives, plastic news, rants, etc.) and click on that category. Then, you will see the "Add Topic" button at the top right of the section for that category.

Hi there I love using an old (recycling at it's best) tights. You cut them across whatever width you want - 4 inches is a good size. the you can make a ponnytail or little bun...the best part is no headaches!
My grandfather used to use and old inner tube cut across for making his own elastic bands....
I have cut the elastic tops off of socks as well for pony tail holders and for making buns. (Learned about this in the military.)
