You could also get other moms involved. Encourage them to do the same thing. There is power in numbers. I don't know of a campaign, but if you have the time and energy, you could start one. I'd be happy to share what I know.

My biggest beef with these products is the "cute" boxes they are packaged in. Over time, you end up with a shelf full of these containers only big enough for the blocks it came with. None of these containers can be recycled, so if you are like me, you have them until it is time to donate them. Has anyone tried contacting these companies to see if they will accept returns of these containers so they can at least be used to make new blocks? Surely recycled plastic is just as good for them to make more??
