I haven't purchased from this site, but a friend of mine is raving about their great service. Good luck finding what you need!

Rose Mountain Herbs's response shows that they are looking at the plastic issue in terms of toxicity of plastic in contact with the oil, but they are not really seeing the waste issue. A barrel lined with plastic is a lot less plastic waste than multiple individual-sized plastic bottles.

Spectrum Organics has some cooking oils in glass bottles, including some of the oils you mentioned -- apricot kernal and avocado: http://www.spectrumorganics.com/?id=6. They are refined. I don't know if they would work for your purposes.

Would you consider using plain coconut oil on your face? It's gotten a lot of recommendations from readers of this blog, and you can find many brands in glass jars.

I have really gotten more into making my own beauty products after reading crunchbetty.com and next in line is making my own facial oil (as opposed to lotion, its great). I was using http://www.badgerbalm.com/p-47.....y-oil.aspx but I would like some feedback as poor quality oils could mess my skin up.
