I was thinking of putting together a few baskets, each with a different theme. What specific items do you think I should look into? From what I've seen at other auctions, themes are usually "spa" (moisturizers, bath salts, shower poof), "sports" (jerseys, tickets, equipment – if Richmond has a sports team, that would be good), "snack foods" (nuts, fruit, candies)… Virginia has a lot of coast, so maybe one could be beach themed (decorative shells, sun lotion, sunglasses, a cd of ocean sounds), seafood themed (the only thing I can think of is Bertha's Mussels, but that's Baltimore, maybe there's a local restaurant, or something?). Other things near Richmond that I can think of are the Naval ship yards, but I can't think of anything for those other than little models of carriers and subs, hardhats, and steel toes, and the last two just seem silly.
