To add a new topic: Decide which category it will be (plastic-free alternatives, plastic news, rants, etc.) and click on that category. Then, you will see the "Add Topic" button at the top right of the section for that category.

"Chemicals in plastics alter the brains of baby boys, making them "more feminine", say US researchers.
"Males exposed to high doses in the womb went on to be less likely to play with boys' toys like cars or to join in rough and tumble games, they found."
Um... I'm not sure this is such a bad thing. :-)
Seriously, these chemicals can also affect the development of boys' sex organs, so it is a big deal.

We need to investigate all such side-effects with the standard plastic industry reply totally out-of-tune with the public mood. Independent scientists should be used to get to the truth of all such uses of questionable plastic compounds.
