What items can I replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
I noticed that I hadn’t really changed my habits regarding plastic. I would tell myself “don’t buy that bag of chips, go for a snack in a cardborad box”, but wouldn’t carry through. I could certainly have rplaced the 4 chip bags with plastic free alternatives.
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
I have been trying to stop drinking pop anyway, so that’s something I could give up if there were only plastic containers.
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
My snacking was really the plastic consuming behaviour I can control that contributed to my plastic collection in week 2. That is a behaviour I can change – healthier, fresher snacks.
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
No chip bags.
