What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
The plastic fork could be replaced by carrying my own utensils in my backpack. My packaging waste could be reduced by buying vegetables that are not wrapped or in any plastic packaging. I could also buy peanut butter and other condiments in glass jars.
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
I would be willing to give up snack foods that involve multiple layers of plastic packaging.
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
In order to reduce my consumption, I should start packing lunches that include more freshly made dishes than plastic wrapped snack/pre-prepared foods.
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
I’m willing to give up my daily snack of a granola bar.
