Year 2, Week 16 Results: .7 oz of plastic waste. Cool music video.
Why oh why do kitties like to chew on plastic? Arya had X-rays today. She’s healing well but has to wait a couple of weeks to get the pin removed from her leg. Feisty girl. Broken bone didn’t stop her from jumping up on top of the refrigerator after she got home. A few more weeks of cage, I’m afraid.

All new plastic waste:
- 3 plastic envelope windows. Notices from Financial West Group, AT&T, & Kaiser Permanente. There were a few solicitations from organizations this week, too, but I sent them back requesting to be removed from the paper mailing list.
- 1 outer wrapper from a case of Instinct canned cat food. Maybe we could get away with just feeding Arya the outer wrapper since she finds it so delicious. Nom nom nom.

*sigh* I wish I had that little of plastic. I was happy that the new asthma inhaler I got is CFC free now and I can recycle the inhaler part! Oh happy days my asthma is no longer killing the ozone.
My soda maker though has been the best way I have cut down on plastic! My hubby said when we move he will leave my normal soda marker with his parents and get me the penguin. 🙂 Even less plastic, yay!
That is fantastic! Congratulations on getting the campaign so big! I am very impressed. But them I usually am impressed with your efforts and results.

One of my cats loves to chew on plastic, too. Her favorite is to chew the handles of plastic bags, rendering them useless. As if there weren’t already enough problems in the world…
I was in the NYT once and when the fact checker called to go over the story with me, she said at the end, “Well, your identity has now been verified by the New York Times. You officially exist.” Hee.
