Buying in bulk as much as possible, getting milk in a glass bottle, shopping from the Farmers Market, etc.  Please don&#039;t try and compare yourself to me because I happen to live in an area where it&#039;s always relatively warm and, while we do have seasons, they are nothing like most of the country.  Our farmers markets are open year-round.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As for cheese, I don&#039;t keep it in the house, but I will admit to the occasional &quot;Don&#039;t ask don&#039;t tell&quot; when ordering in a restaurant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I really appreciate how you are linking health with reduced plastic!]]></description>
