Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

Hi Daniella. Yeah, coffee cups have a plastic lining. Pretty much any paper products made to hold liquids are lined with plastic -- except for the few that are "compostable" and then they have bio-based plastic lining.

I have an indoor drying rack too. I could put it outside, but honestly? I am probably the only person in the world who doesn't like how clothes smell when dried outside. I really don't. And drying them inside keeps them from fading too. So anyway, it doesn't solve your HOA problem but maybe helps you feel better about your current situation? :-)

Also? You sound like you're stressing out about the actions of that other certain someone in your house. My advice? Let it go. Collect your own plastic and concentrate on your own actions. Let him see your example and make his own choices. I just think you'll be happier.

Cheers!
