Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

Kelly, I am really looking forward to seeing your progress as you go through the challenge. It sounds like you already have some good strategies planned.

Oh, one other thing. If you take a long photo (portrait instead of landscape) it helps if you rotate it before uploading so it will show up correctly on the front page. Otherwise, just try and take landscape photos. I'm going to add an instruction about this on the form page for others for the future.
