highlighters and chips are not needed.
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
going to the bulk food bins to get cereals and snacks for work.
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
cookies – I am eating breadsticks instead which come in a box.
What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
I don’t think it’s fair that I am claiming the highlighter thingy this week. I found this highlighter in my new desk at work and it is now dried up. I used it for a few weeks, so I guess it does belong in my plastic pile…. I’m not sure.
Free samples are the devil of plastic trash. I went to a trade show this week and was given many single serve samples of cookies, pretzels, chips, and the luna bar.
