What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
The chocolate :)
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
The energy bars. I am looking into making my own Lara imitation bars.
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
Burger buns are an essential for me. I buy the flat pita-like ones and I toast them for breakfast. I guess I could try having oatmeal… yuk!
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
Planning my snacks and meals ahead of time. Avoid temptations at work such as the chocolate a co-worker offered to me – I will just say “no thank you” :)
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
The chocolate wrappers…
What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
