In a pinch, though, I’ve taken to buying baguettes (paper wrapping, no HFCS) and slicing them into 6″ lengths. I just make my burgers accordingly.

While I’m sure there are bakeries that would make them on special request..I gave up on trying to find burger buns not in plastic and started making my own. They are super easy… I usually screw up loaf bread, but the buns turn out perfect every single time!! (even doubling the recipe they turn out great… so make a bunch and freeze some)
