Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

Hey Margaret!

Movie theater candy almost always has the inner plastic bag... except Thin Mints!! We normally get our candy before we go to the theater (it's cheaper and with a shake of the box I can figure out what has plastic and what doesn't... we also buy bulk candy sometimes.)

Also, I see you have a tortilla package. Don't know if you've tried making tortillas yet... if you haven't they are SUPER easy and taste so much better than store bought ones :) Here's the recipe I use: http://itstartswithme-danielle.blogspot.com/2011/07/homemade-plastic-free-tortillas.html

Hi Margaret. Life Without Plastic is selling a plastic-free lint brush, which I'm testing out right now. It's pricey, though. I'm not sure if I love it yet.

Thanks for speaking up to the CSA! We just need to keep rocking the boat.
