Toilet cleaning – I’m simply not ok with a cleaning brush that sits in my bathroom after being used to scrub a toilet. I use the wand that clips onto a scrubbing thing with cleaner that you flush when you’re done. Any idea of something that’s disposable but doesn’t come packaged in plastic?

Total items: 29
Total weight: 3.4 ounces
2 styrofoam cushions from pears in produce box
Cup, lid, and straw from Burgerville – these are made of Ingeo “natural plastic”, which is made of corn. And melted in the dishwasher. Compostable doesn’t mean anything if you get takeout and don’t have an industrial composter at home, although I wonder what would happen if I put them in my compost bin?
Errmmm…. a “few” candy wrappers in excess of the three trick-or-treaters I got.
Plastic sleeve that my demotivators calendar was shipped in. It’s pretty sturdy; I’ll hang onto it for a while to see if I can repurpose it for something.
Backing for earrings – why can’t they just put them on a piece of cardboard?
Packaging for Lucky spring rolls (a local company to me)
A size label and some price tag fasteners
Window from a bread bag
Skittles bag – from Halloween party-ish at work
2 bottle neck seals
Bubble mailer from my mom – she always mails candy for holidays. It is reused though, and she apologized for giving me plastic.
Toilet cleaner packaging – toilets are the one thing for which I can’t quite wrap my head around using a reusable cleaning apparatus.
