Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

I haven't read any of these posts on here before, and I just happened on yours. I wanted to mention that I buy tofu at our local food co-op where it comes in bulk. Though I have long used a new plastic bag each time I bought it, I have recently been working on bringing all my own containers for all my bulk purchases -- including tofu. Perhaps you can find bulk tofu somewhere in your area. Good luck and thanks for your efforts and inspiration!
