List of plastic items REFUSED this week. (Yay!)
Plastic shopping bags
Plastic produce bags
Crackers (I made my own this week)
Total items collected: 5
Broken hair elastic
Seal from jar
Seal from brown rice syrup jar
Bubble wrap mailer… I had to order a textbook for school on eBay.
What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
I can make my own yogurt so I don’t have to throw away plastic jar seals all the time.
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
Milk rings. I don’t know why I didn’t have any this week. My mum must have thrown them away by accident.
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
Communicating with sellers when I buy online.
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
Stevia packets. I’ll use them up but I won’t buy any more.
What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
It was a pretty good week.
