Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

Hi Nan. Welcome! I still feel like a freak every once in a while, but the more you do it, the more you start to see all the waste as freakish instead of your efforts to reduce waste. It sounds like you are already well on your way. Medical plastics are hard to avoid. Kudos for being prepared to avoid the snack and juice plastic at the blood center!
