Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

Hi Jessica. Welcome to the challenge! It looks like you're already doing a great job refusing plastic.

St. Benoit yogurt is made in Northern California and comes in returnable glass mason jars or ceramic pots. You pay a deposit and get it refunded at the store when you return the container. This link will show you locations in your area. Click on “Central Coast.” http://www.stbenoit.com/html/findYogurt.html Note: It's not Greek yogurt. But I'm really not sure what the difference is.

As for juice, I honestly am not a big believer in fruit juice because I feel like it's concentrated sugar with all the fiber missing. Maybe you could blend up whole fruit to make smoothies. I think it would be more nutritious. :-) Also, you don't have to move to a farm. Just shop at your local farmers market.
