List of plastic items REFUSED this week. (Yay!)
Shopping bags. Juice containers
Total items collected: 35
I didn’t make a list… first because my english is not good, and second because I hate book-keeping…. LOL!
My goal with this exercice is to start thinking of replacements….
What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
juice, bread, cookie packaging
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
Cookies. Will made at home.
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
Some vegetables will be hard to find without plastic bags.
Fortunatly, our local farmers market will start next week. But winter is long here…. ;)
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
More cooking. Find a bulk food stores (don’t know if we have these here)
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
