Take the challenge. Collect your plastic waste (both recyclable and non) for one week or more. Then photograph, tally, and post it here. What can we learn about our habits and lifestyles by examining our waste? And what changes can each of us make to leave the planet a little less trashy?

Hi Jessica, I see you are thinking of making your own toilet bowl cleaner. Maybe i am just lazy but I find a squirt of dish soap or really any liquid soap works great. You really don't need a specialty cleaner for the toilet bowl. I refill my dish soap bottle from the bulk section of my co-op

@BethTerry I would recommend it to anyone! It helps you to think about your trash in a different way. Even before we did the challenge we had been trying to cut back our waste, but once we were actually weighing it and noting every piece of plastic it really made a bigger impact and we noticed things we wouldn't have otherwise.

Jessica, thank you for participating in the challenge for 4 weeks. What would you say you learned the most from it? And would you recommend it to other people?
