Reducing plastic bag use… using paper in grocery stores/farmers markets for produce etc

Live in a small house with husband and three year old.
List of plastic items REFUSED this week. (Yay!)
Plastic bags for fruit
Single use food pouches for my son
Plastic water bottles
Total items collected: 37

Water bottle, Yogurt carton, 3x grated cheese containers, 2 x plum tomato containers, vitamin bottle, rest plastic bags or plastic covers (e.g. over the tea bag box!)
All plastic bags and plastic wrappers!
What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
Buy produce in paper or by themselves… or cloth bags.
Straws .. replace w/ paper… or don’t use
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
All single use items
Stop using plastic straws
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
Vitamins seem to only be purchased in plastic bottles.
Cheese hard to find not wrapped in plastic…. at least I think plastic tubs are recyclable
