Thank you first off. I am a mom of two, and I just wrote down a list of everything in my kitchen that is plastic. Well, It’s just about everything. Not to mention everything else in my house. My question is, were you more concerned with the health effects or with putting the things to good use until they were used up? I have considered donating much of it, as I have a baby and young child, and I am concerned for their health. We aren’t rich, but it is tax return time, and this seems kind of important. What was your philosophy starting out? We have the reusable bags, and I am going to switch to vinegar cleaner and get some bar soap….This is a massive life change. We stopped eating meat and dairy a few years ago, and somehow this seems like a much bigger, and more expensive, adjustment. And we just got a new (plastic) blender…sigh.
