This one is programmable and has no plastic inside the lid or where the handle attaches, as so many do. There is a silicone ring seal around the spout and the temperature probe. This is the best I can find that is actually programmable. I did find several more that are not programmable. Reviews are not great, but I’m trying it. The plastic on the handle right by the pot came with chips in it, which did not touch my hand, so I’m ignoring them.

Here are a couple of good options, you can not buy there, but at least you’ll see the characteristics and appearance.) Steel and glass look good, although some plastic parts are still there, if you want smth without plastic at all, you should better take look at non-electric kettles, at least they will always look better than electric, although they boil much longer)

It looks like there are Amazon reviews on it now. Mostly positive, but a couple of negatives about rust and the lightweight plastic base. Otherwise, seems great!

If you are looking for a coffee maker and not just an electric kettle, a percolator may be a good choice. We have had a Farberware electric percolator for 6 years and it is still going strong. There may be others that would work, too, but I know for sure that all the interior parts are steel on this one. The handle and base are black plastic, but the hot water never touches those. https://www.amazon.com/Farberware-2-4-Cup-Percolator-Stainless-FCP240/dp/B00008ELEA/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1524921821&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=farberware+percolator&psc=1
