Our green club has been pretty successful in raising money. We probably raise close to $1,000 a year. I’d like to put a portion of that money towards completing some sort of “large” project. One example would be a teaching garden so kids can learn about plants and animals. Any other ideas (less than $10,000)? I bet we could get some grants or donations to suplement money raised directly by the club.

I think a teaching garden sounds like a fantastic idea. Here in Berkeley, we also have a project where the kids grow food, learn about nutrition, and how to prepare the vegetables that they grow.
