Winter is coming and my hardwood floors are COLD.  Anybody know where to buy slippers that aren't plastic?  I'm trolling etsy, but I thought maybe somebody had another idea.

Etsy sounds like a great idea. All the slippers I’ve seen in stores are made with plastic foam.

You can always go with thick wool socks :-)  Warm, durable, and best of all machine washable. Granted they aren't quite as slip resistant but as long as you have a thick weave it really shouldn't be a problem.

(guess you could use any soft sandal, sneaker or shoe sole since it goes inside the fabric) Great way to save something plastic from the landfill and cheap, too! I’m definitely going to try this when mine give out.
