My Plastic-free Life - Topic: Subzero Water Bottles Simple:Press Version 5.7.4 Beth Terry on Subzero Water Bottles Plastic-free Alternatives Stainless steel is BPA-free because it doesn't need a liner. Aluminum bottles are the ones to worry about because they require a lining to keep them from corroding. Just make sure your bottle is stainless steel. And when in doubt, contact the manufacturer.

crazyliblady on Subzero Water Bottles Plastic-free Alternatives Hi, everyone.  On my quest to become mostly plastic free, I have encountered obstacles, some of them financial, but also the urge to not further pollute the earth in the process of trying to make things better.  I want to try to do this without having to buy a whole lot of new stuff.  After all, new stuff costs money and it is often packaged in plastic no matter where you buy it.  I have a Subzero brand stainless steel water bottle that I have had for several years since about 2005, I think.  Is there any way to tell if it is BP free?

I tried to search online for this and found nothing definitive.  If not, I think I will try to order a glass bottle from or maybe a kleen kanteen bottle.

Thank you.
