It seems I like to rant…anyway, I had a bad day at the grocery store today, rushing in to pick up produce without my nylon bags, quickly buying plastic packaged items, and using plastic bags when I had to. Then, I see people with 3 to four times as much plastic as I have, and wish there was a better way. I think of families, with small kids, and am sure it’s a lot more challenging to make the right \”plastic free\” purchase on limited time.

Seems like the answer really has to be more consumer choice. It takes more time to check varied grocery stores to get the items that meet a higher standard, such as plastic free or organic.
