Stay at home mom. One children at home, sometimes two… with a part time husband (working far away).

I’m a fashion designer (trying to be eco friendly as much as possible) working at home.

2 drinks (glass, lid and straw) from restaurant

What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
dressing (made my own)
cookie (made my own)
orange (bring my bag)
sugar (buy it in bulk)

What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?

What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
ham

cheese

What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
restaurant… will have to bring my contenant
I found milk in glass bottle but it’s not distributed in my area…. I’m thinking about how I’ll do the change…

What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?

What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
I’m very happy with my challenge.
I have less plastic trash.
Will try to keep my good habits now…. and try to find more ways to reduce. :)

I know that in winter it will be more difficult (no farmer market) but I have 2 or 3 months to prepare myself. ;)
