What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
I’ve seen natural fertilizers in cardboard at a local store.

What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
We usually buy sweets in bulk, but they keep being given to us.

What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?

What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
stop accepting gifts. Or educate everyone I know about plastic. Both sound daunting.

What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
Packaged Mac and cheese.

What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
So much of this in unplanned plastic from others. The cable ties (and a huge pile of plastic wrap I didn’t photograph) came holding some shelf units together. We agreed to store these for someone (by using them as shelves) never realizing how much plastic trash was involved.

Also, I’m not sure I’m getting everything divided by week. Did we really eat 3 bags of chips in 1 week? and 2 bottles of olive oil? 4 floss containers? I think some of these were hiding for a while.
