Plastic Challenge: Kristin, Week 12

This week I take full responsibility for all of my items. I know better. Between a 24 hour notice camping trip (that resulted in a LOT of packaged foods & other items) and not having time to do the other things (like baking) that I had intended to do this week it’s just been a giant disaster 🙁 As the season is working it’s way towards warmer days, I need to focus on remaining vigilant & dedicated to limiting my plastic and not frittering away this finite oil based “resource” on summer whims.

Next week we’re buying some grass seed & potting soil etc which I suspect I wont be able to find “unbagged”. Any suggestions? I’ll check out our greenhouse before I go to Home Depot, but there aren’t many resources in our small city.

Plastic Challenge: Bizz, Week 1

Name: Bizz

Week: 1

Personal Info: I live in British Columbia with my partner, Dan, who is not taking part of this, however will contribute to the consumption of some of the food etc from the packages. We have no children, just two cats. I live in a small northern town where there are not a lot of amenities, including a short farmers market season and few recycling options. I have to drive to the next town over for a lot of my recycling.
