What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
Shopping bag, They sneak your purchase into a bag without asking while you pay. I have a hard time telling them to take it out again.
Fruit sticker, farmers markets.
Method floor cleaner, make my own cleaner.
Onion package, buy loose onions.
Carrot bag, loos carrots.
Ice cream bar wrapper, buy ice cream cone.
Raisins bag, buy in bulk.
Cookie package, homemade cookies.

Hi Bizz. You said you have a hard time asking store clerks to take out your purchase once they’ve automatically put it in a plastic bag. I think most people feel embarrassed at first about asking for something different.
