What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
I just found.. umm realized that there is a small local store that I go to from time to time that has organic deli meats. I’ll start getting my daughter’s deli meats there with my own containers.
What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
What items are essential and seem to have no plastic-free alternative?
Contact lenses
What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
Most often the things we buy, I don’t purchase them too often. They are often what I consider “special treats”: Chips and Tortellini fall into that category.
Reducing the frequency that we purchase something is a simple step that I think everyone can start 🙂
What one plastic item am I willing to give up or replace this week?
What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
I’d like to mention that we had a hurricane during the end of this week that I collected our plastic waste. When everyone was out rushing to buy bottled water and bread… I filled up my own containers with tap water and went to the local bakery to get (plastic-free) bread 🙂
