Plastic Challenge: Harumi, Week 6
Location:Bellevue, Washington, United States
Name: Harumi
Week: 6
Personal Info:
6th week: I don’t eat meat much anymore, but my husband does. I normally bring a glass container and ask a butcher to use it. But this week, we got a half chicken, and it was too big to fit in any of my containers. Sadly, we ended up having a wrapper and plastic bag.

What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?

What lifestyle change(s) might be necessary to reduce my plastic consumption?
Plan ahead (shopping, eating out), be ready. I had to use a plastic cup and Styrofoam take out container this week. I could have had my water bottle and a container with me.

What other conclusions, if any, can I draw?
