Undertaking this challenge is really increasing my awareness of how/where and what type of plastics are used in packaging.

List of plastic items REFUSED this week. (Yay!)
Bought cheese from the deli counter, rather than plastic wrapped from supermarket

Not sure if the cream cheese foil wrapper contains plastic? Have included it in case it does?

Foil wrappers from coffee bags and dishwasher tablet

Plastic wrappers around magazines received in the post

Plastic bag that came with meat (forget to take a container)

Plastic lining on wine lid, and 2 x milk bottle lids

What items can I easily replace with plastic free or less plastic alternatives?
Buy butter wrapped in ‘waxed’ paper

Cancel subscriptions to magazine that aren’t essential, and move toward email communication

Remember to take my own container when buying meat

Look for wines with natural cork stoppers

Brew coffee

What items would I be willing to give up if a plastic free alternative doesn’t exist?
